What? It's February? Yes. No. Oh God.

Okay now, where were we?

Updates! Right. A few things, but before that, I just realized that my last update was about two months ago, called 'After a 2 month break'. Does this mean that I'll be updating once every 2 months?

Anywayyy, I went to Foster The People concert. Here, lemme show you a picture I took.

Cool? No? Well I don't care what you think, I think it's pretty darn cool.

See, I was offered a ticket by a generous college mate and turns out, I got to experience being in the mosh pit for the very first time! I was so excited, cause, well, MOSH PIT!

And that's the reason why I was so fucking pissed at the end of it, because nothing turned out like how I imagined it would. First of all, I fell down, in the mosh pit, twice. I swear I thought I was gonna get seriously injured, because I thought people were gonna step on my legs, or sit on my face, or both.

I wanted to scream, "GUYS, CALM YOUR FUCKING TITS MAN!" But, not that anyone would hear me anyway. I got shoved around, a lot. When the crowd settled down, 80% of the people were holding their cameras up, some even used tablets, to record the concert. Okay, I get it, you want some memories, but taking pictures throughout the entire concert? What the hell, man. Why don't you go back and watch tv? Because I'm short, I couldn't see shit.

Also, I didn't know the songs very well. Okay, this is my fault, I should've memorized the lyrics and do some research. As a result, I felt like a total loser because I couldn't sing along to almost any of the songs except 'Pumped Up Kicks', which was the last song.

Oh, and one guy was smoking in the mosh pit. *face palm* And! I broke my sandals! I was so pissed =(

So, if someone offered me a mosh pit ticket to a cool concert next time, will I go? Yes, yes I would. But will I be really excited? NO. Will I wear shoes? YES.

After this post, I wonder how long it will take me to do another update. Here's a recent picture of myself (although I really haven't changed a single bit)

As usual, I was in the middle of doing my Land Law assignment, but got distracted by, well, the Internet in general. Then, I found myself coming here to have a look.

Keeping a blog updated is such hard work, and there's pressure in keeping it fresh and interesting. Whilst I do have a lot of thoughts, I don't always manage to put it down somewhere and they usually end up forgotten.

I've not been up to much, but I think the best way is to look though the pictures in my phone since I utilize the camera quite a bit.

November was a really tough month, but I managed to get by it and everything is fine now. So thankful for all the love I got from my family, so thankful that everything is back to normal now, if not better.

Cute? He finally got his hair cut! People tend to complain about his hair being too long all the time but, I don't see what's the big deal. Still HENSEM!

It's almost 3am now, I really should be sleeping.

I havent updated in a long time, and I'm back because I needed to talk to somebody but couldn't find the right opportunity or the right person to talk to. Or maybe that's a lie, maybe I just wanna type it out, without really needing any feedback, but knowing someone out there, whoever, will read it some time. Plus, I feel like an attention whore posting it on Facebook.

Have you ever had those days when you just feel so fucking fucked up that no words could even describe how fucked up you feel? I had one of those days yesterday. How did I deal with it? I stayed in bed the whole day, literally. Every single thing made me want to cry, I wanted to scream out of frustration. I was so angry, I kicked and pushed and pulled my hair till it hurt too much.

I know, I'm fucking crazy right?

Maybe you know what I'm talking about, maybe you don't. Although this is not the first time, it hasn't happened to me in a long time. How did I come such a long way, just to feel like this all over again?

It's so difficult, it's torturing. I feel like nobody understands, and I don't know how to make anyone understand either. Do you know how I would sound like if I were to tell you exactly how I feel? It'd probably sound something like "I'm so unhappy with how I look I'm so uncomfortable with myself I feel so ugly why am I not pretty how am I even surviving this why do I hate it so much why is this so difficult why don't I have better facial features fuck the fucking world fuck the pretty girls fuck I want to look like them fucking fuck"

In return you would either say something like "Omg what's wrong with you? You look fine you should be thankful for what you have you look pretty everyone is beautiful" or "Fucking bitch what an attention whore she just wants to tell the world that she's ugly so everyone would tell her she's not."

Either way, I don't really care about what you think. If you belong to the first group, I'd like to thank you, even though whatever you say doesn't really matter. If you belong to the second group, well fuck you.

I'd like to clarify that I'm not always like this. I'm confident some of the time, okay most of the time. It's just sometimes, it kinda hits me without much warning. Like how yesterday I woke up feeling really ugly and depressed and sad.

I feel like nothing falls into place. I cry, only to realize that crying will make my eyes puffy and disgusting, which makes my eyes look even smaller and rather shitty. It makes my eye bags and dark circles worse, especially if I cry at night till 3 in the morning. Then the next day I wake up looking even more like a piece of shit. Like an endless cycle of shit just hitting me in the face.

Isn't it so fucking annoying how insecure I am? Surely you're thinking, why is she so insecure? What has she got to be insecure about? The truth is I don't know either. Did you know that I'm terrified of losing my boyfriend? My boyfriend is possibly the most loyal person I know, and he shows me all time, how much he loves me and how I can trust him. But I'm so bloody insecure in this relationship sometimes that I just freak out and get jealous and act like a psycho bitch. My heart hurts so much when I'm like this, it's that terrible tight wrenching feeling in your chest that makes you want to burst out into tears, but because you're in public, you try as hard as you can to smile and laugh at the jokes but honestly, it's getting difficult to breathe.

Do you know what I'm talking about?

And my boyfriend studies in Subang. Do you know how many hot girls are in Subang? How many good looking girls study in Taylors or Inti? You're like fucking surrounded by good looking girls. Cherry on top my pie right?

It's not that there's no trust between us, I trust him with all my heart, but that doesn't stop me from feeling like a piece of shit.

It's kinda well known that I'm insecure, but no one really gets it and it can be quite frustrating. And so I cry and I cry, I scream into my pillow and drench it with tears, begging to fall asleep.

It's a difficult phase, it's so difficult. I can't love myself like how everyone around me does. My parents, my boyfriend, they love me so much. My pillars of strengh and support, and probably the reason why I'm still around.

Hopefully I won't have to do so much pretending anymore, I'm really not okay, can anyone tell?

I have my Criminal paper tomorrow, then Common Law Reasoning on Thursday, and I'm off for another month's holiday before crazy stressful life begins again.

I'm feeling terribly lazy right now. I plan to study for another 2 hours, hit the bed and pass my exam tomorrow. Do the same for Thursday, go home and take a glorious afternoon nap.

I'm feeling really really down too. And insecure, and stressed out. Bloated cause I ate too much. I feel like a piece of shit. Confused, unsatisfied.

You know, that's all I wanted to say. I think they call this having a bad mood.

. . . how I can't seem to keep this place updated, even for Cheer Me Up Mondays. How big of a failure am I capable of being?

Nothing much happened recently, except for the fact that I went for plastic surgery and now look like this!

Well, no not really. Pretty looking thing ain't she? I did two photo shoots a couple of weeks ago and this is one of my favourites. I have another, wanna see?

I shot these pictures with my 85mm f1.8, which I'm pretty happy about. In fact I'm happy with the results as well, how all the pictures turned out. I uploaded these on Facebook and got the most pathetic response I could possibly imagine.

There were 3 likes on the album, and a couple of likes on a couple of pictures. That's it.

My heart is broken, my dreams are smashed. Why did you all have to be so cruel? But, life goes on. I'm afraid people are just terribly bored with portraits now, my shoot simply wasn't dynamic or creative enough, so I'll just sit at a corner and pat myself on the back.

I'm currently in the process of editing the second shoot, hopefully it will generate more responses.

My Honeymoon

I find the title of this blogpost rather misleading. Hah. Anyway here's a short post of last Saturday night. The boy asked if I wanted to go anywhere and I thought it'd be nice to try out Snowflakes (Yes, can you believe it? I've not tried Snowflakes yet). I'm convinced that it's overrated and nothing special, but wanted to find that out for myself.

Lucky for us there was one in Kuchai Entrepreneur's Park. Unfortunately it was packed and the queue was so long it reached the door. This might seem exaggerated; the store is pretty small.

Still in the mood for something sweet, we went to the dessert store on the opposite side of the road, which was My Honeymoon.

May I just say that the name of the shop is very lame? Especially the "My" part.

Here are a first complain about that place. It's bloody noisy. Due to people talking unnecessarily loud, the blasting music and poor sound absorption walls. It gave the boy a headache.

I've no idea what we ordered because I completely forgot to take note. The top one was a hot dessert. Black glutinous rice with coconut milk? Something like that. The bottom one was something to do with chocolate, that's all I remember.

I don't know about the first dessert, I think it tasted really really average. The second one, to me was alright, was kinda like eating chocolate ice-cream, but the boy said it tasted awful, like Chinese medicine lol.

I asked the boy to look disappointed (because our experience there wasn't so great, seriously damn noisy =.=) and he came up with this face instead. Anddd, that's just me trying to act cute.

SHOOO CUTE! Can't get over tiny things.

Anyway, the conclusion is, I still haven't tried Snowflakes yet! Sigh, why I so outdated gehhh? At least I know My Honeymoon isn't all that interesting and it would be highly unlikely that we'll go there ever again.

On a random note, my brother thinks that the My Honeymoon logo/character looks bloody ugly and weird, I find it cute, but the boy said it looks like an upside down nut sack lol it's a heart shape lah!

Daddy's Day ♥

Last Sunday was Father's Day, so we thought we'd treat Dad to dinner, since he always pays for everything. There were many advertisements of Father's Day promotions in the papers, but we settled for The Windmill Restaurant because it seemed like the better deal.

I know what you're thinking, Jeradyne ate Sharksfin?? What a hypocrite!

Well, in my defense, it was mainly chicken soup with a very very small amount of Sharskfin, and I did avoid eating them while I was drinking the soup.

If you're interested you can actually enlarge the picture to take a closer look at the menu/options. Because if you didn't so anything for Father's Day, fret not as this promotion lasts till the end of this month.

Prawns and Mango Cocktail

Grilled Steak & Chicken topped with Black and White Mushroom Sauce; Roasted Rosemary Lamb with Tiger Prawns.

Ice-cream and Coffee. I feel a little cheated because in the menu we were supposed to be served Affogato, which is vanilla ice-cream topped with a shot of hot espresso, which is a lot more interesting that this - Strawberry ice bream with fruits. Oh well.

Sistahood. There's a story behind this picture about good angles haha.

Every set cost RM59.90++. To be honest I don't think any of us were all that impressed with the food. It wasn't horrible but it sure wasn't excellent. The portion was smaller than we all imagined it to be and the Tiger Prawns were overcooked.

So anyway, it has been more than a month into my 3 month break and I have come to the conclusion that I've been completely useless for the past month.

Seriously.

Well, who's really THAT surprised anyway? I really intended to do more but, is it me, or is time passing like, uber quick?

I'm so scared about my results, doing my first year law degree all over again would really suck, and it would make me such a loser cause all my friends would probably pass. I hate worrying about this.

But I did manage to take plenty of pictures, I think. Putting Bill Bob to pretty good use. I wonder if it was too much for me to spend more than 2k on new lenses, but then these are the things I save my money for anyway. Not to buy branded things (okay maybe one or two branded things?), but to buy things that I have a passion for.

Sometimes I go behind the lens, and I'm convinced that this is what I love doing. Although I'm not particularly good at it and I suck when it comes to the depth of knowledge I have on photography, I'd like to say that those things don't matter much to me, as long as I capture good moments. That's what's important.

Of course, it's still helpful to have some knowledge.

I don't wanna be just another girl with a DSLR, I'd like people to recognize my work, my angles, my eye for detail.

Sometimes I wonder how my life would turn out if I were to go for art classes in an Art School. Would I be much happier, surrounded by people of my kind? Or would I be put under more pressure to excel in something I like to do just for the fun of it? Would I truly be able to enjoy it then?

I'm sure everybody about the same age as me would know the wonders on Nyan Cat. Seriously, it's one of the most lovable things I've seen, mainly cause of it's sheer randomness and cuteness and not to mention, its nyan-ness!

Today I just realized that the video had just gotten a whole lot more awesomely nyan, when I saw that tiny Nyan Cat on the loading bar! Pooping rainbow! Words cannot express how extremely amazed I was, not to mentioned happy and amused.

A Nerd Wannabe

Having a little vain moment. Excuse me.

So I got myself a pair of new glasses. I decided to get a cooler frame (are these frames actually cooler?) so that I'd get to wear my glasses out more often instead of having to wear my contact lenses almost every time I go out.

I have given up on trying to look for a pair of affordable frames in optical shops because they don't exists, so I bought mine at a booth selling frames at Ikano Power Centre. They cost RM25, which isn't exactly cheap if you compare with pasar malam prices. But I'm happy with my frames because they have that matte texture to it, which I like way better than the type that is shiny and plastic-ky.

I brought them to an optical shop to get my prescribed lenses fixed at RM100, and there we are, my new glasses.

Although I look like those weird people that wear non-prescription glasses for the sake of wearing frames when I'm wearing this pair of glasses, I'm happy with them =)

New toys to play with

So the previous post was rather depressing.

I bought a new lens some time ago and didn't really have the chance to use it yet. It's an 80mm f1/8, which I hope was a good investment, considering the fact that it cost me RM1.25K.

Now that, is a lot of cash.

I did, however, bring it to a wedding and I have to say, I was not too disappointed with the outcome. Due to its low aperture, I was able to capture some moments in the low light setting.

Here are a few of my prouder shots.

All in all the colours are pretty good, and am totally loving the bokeh. Pictures with blur backgrounds are love.

Hoping to have more opportunities to use the lens and capture beautiful moments.

I hope this post was not too pointless, maybe I'll come up with better updates soon =)

At least I try.

This shall be a confession, because I need to let it out, else I would just explode. I'm typing it here, because I don't really know who to talk to, so I'm telling anybody that is willing to listen.

I'm uncomfortable with myself, and I am unbelievably vain. I am a hypocrite, I contradict myself most of the time. I'm a liar. I'm an attention whore. I hate all these things about myself.

I think, I can be odd. I'm not a suicidal girl that cuts herself because I think I look ugly and the world hates me. I'm completely aware of how lucky I am, really, I am. I have a family that loves me so much, which I love just as much. I have an education. I have most of the things I want. I am healthy and normal and well. I'm fortunate. I'm happy most of the time, because I don't have a reason not to be.

But then I ruin it all and find reasons and flaws that eat me up inside.

I'm insecure. On my bad days my confidence is literally 6 feet under. I hate myself. I cry, and I walk to the mirror and watch myself cry, just to see how ugly my reflection is, and I cry some more. Flaws flaws flaws, I actively look for them when I'm depressed. It's oddly satisfying and pathetic at the same time. I find comfort in knowing that I'm depressed for all the right reasons, because I'm not perfect.

I find it almost impossible to love myself sometimes. I look at random pictures of pretty girls on Facebook and wished I looked like them. I wished I had their eyes, their nose, their height. Then I feel sorry for myself, because I can't be beautiful. Never is and never will be.

I don't leave the house without BB Cream, because I can't bare the world to see me without it on. My skin is capable of being really fucked up and it annoys me to no end. I give people the impression that I don't wear any make-up, that I'm all natural, but it's all a lie. I say I don't care what other people think, but that's a lie too.

I try to have a good personality, just to please people around me, to make myself likable. I act like I'm all open-minded and am totally open to opinions, but sometimes I just die inside at the slightest criticism, because I can be too sensitive sometimes.

Sometimes I beg for attention silently, because I put on a strong front and pretend it doesn't matter to me, when all that matters to me sometimes is what other people think of me, how I need people to like me, what kind of impression I give to other people.

It didn't occur to be how big of a fake I am till I realized that I don't even know what I am anymore. I pretend so much that I'm a bit worried I might forget who I really am, or how I'm truly supposed to be.

My dad tells me I should be strong and confident, and I shouldn't have to care about what people think. So that's what I do. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't.

I am a strong woman. I try to be. I pretend that it's working, every single time. I wonder if I pretend long and hard enough, eventually it becomes real.

I really, truly, want to stop being so unhappy with my life sometimes. I want to be happy all the time, I want to be an optimist. I guess, it takes time.

So, this place is officially dead isn't it?

I was trying my very best to keep this place alive with my Cheer Me Up Mondays, but when my finals got nearer I barely had time, hence I failed miserably.

Blogging consistently is tough work. Constantly thinking of new ideas, creative pictures and all. In a way it's good training to keep the mind working, but non the less, still tough job.

I guess what makes it harder is that my life isn't all that interesting. I don't get invited to events and movie premiers, nor do I have a pretty face to flood the blog with my camwhore pictures.

I'm still wondering if I should continue blogging. One factor that discourages me is that, not a lot of people come to read my stuff in the first place.

The photographer then asked the winners to look excited and to "show off your prizes." The girl, without thinking, did a stupid face and the photographer captured it.

She then prayed very hard that the photographer will not choose that picture to publish in the papers. However, her prayer was not answered.

The Star price-giving ceremony

As some of you know, I won a Consolation Price for The Star's Most Romantic Photo Contest, and the price-giving ceremony was last Friday.

My dad was kind enough to send me there so I could attend. The only reason why I went was to look at other people's pictures, and I have to say I am quite impressed. In my opinion alot of other pictures were better than the ones that won the big prizes.

So vain, taking a picture of my own picture lol.

I am restless

I really am. I'm itching to reach out to Bill Bob and make good use of it, I wanna shoot people, I wanna practice, I wanna be damn good at doing what I love.

I'm also trying to figure out what to do with my hair. Not dying it, not cutting it short, not perming it. Then what the hell is there left to do with it?

Getting bored of studying, dying to do something else. I wonder if it's too late for me to learn contemporary dance. I imagine myself moving like fluid, emotion and passion flowing with every move I make.

Oh well, won't happen.

Sometimes I wonder what my life would've turned out with a twist of fate. It's amazing how we all play a tiny part in these chains of events. What would happen If I met different people, got influenced by different people, I'd be doing different things. I wonder what.

I think I'll stop dreaming now. Stop my visions for a while and dive into law again. I'm tired.

If you guys read The Star, you might have seen a Photo Contest organized by The Star and sponsored by Canon. Cameras up for grabs were EOS550D, G12, S95 and some other cameras that I'm not interested in.

It's called the Most Romantic Photo Contest, and I participated with the picture I took above. That's my brother and his wife. We were supposed to capture the loveliest moment. Winners are based on the originality and creativity.

The results came out yesterday, and I'm so disappointed with myself, I feel like such a failure. Yes, I guess you could say that I'm a sore loser, because I think my picture is so much better than the ones that actually won the big prizes.

I don't know how I did it, I don't know why I did it. But someone posted something really nasty and sickening on Facebook, and I watched it.

I hate myself for clicking on the play button, because curiosity got the best of me. It was a video full with blood and flesh torn apart. It was a man dying after a car accident.

A few thing amazes me. First of all, why in the flying fuck was someone even recording this? And why the fuck is he putting it on the internet? The fact that someone did this is just sick.

The second thing is, well, where was God?

I know, he has his reasons. I know, he moves in mysterious ways. But if he is as great and forgiving and wonderful as you say he is, how is it possible for him to watch so many of his children die in so many tragic ways every second of the day?

I mean, I do get the fact that maybe these people deserves to be punished, maybe the person in the video is a child murderer/rapist and he hasn't been caught yet. But I supposed he can't just allow people to die more peacefully? Does he have to make people die like the man in the video? Blood oozing out from his head, his whole leg twisted so bad that when he moved basically his whole thigh broke away from the rest of his leg, his hand torn off and lying a feet away from his body? He was begging, he was crying tears of blood.

I simply cannot accept the fact that tragedies like this are happening every single fucking day, and God is simply allowing this to happen. I can't accept how he is so hateful to the people that do not believe in him. I simply cannot accept the fact that He sends all of us to Hell for eternity just because we don't believe in him. In fact, I don't even know why people get Cancer. Why do women get raped? Why do earthquakes kill hundreds of people? Why are there suicide bombers? Can't God do something about this, if he is omnipotent, omniscient and omnipresent? Why are these things happening?

Of photography, modelling and SLRs

More and more people are getting their pictures taken professionally, because more and more people are getting SLRs, in such big numbers that it almost seems overrated.

Well, maybe it is.

I got Bill Bob (EOS 500D) about 2 years back because I was convinced that I have an eye for photography. I waited and waited, when I finally got it, I was happy beyond belief. I started to toy with the settings and it was then realize that having creative angles are not enough.

I put it aside for awhile because, as much as I'm ashamed to say this, I got lazy. I would look through websites on shutter speed and aperture and end up closing the whole window because I've absolutely no idea what's going on. But recently I picked up Bill Bob again, and even held another photoshoot. I managed to get a different lens (one with a lower aperture, what is it called again?) and even an external flash (though I did not make use of it). I learned a lot from a friend and all of a sudden, I'm fascinated, all over again. I'm actually working on another shoot, we'll see how that turns out =)

The truth is, I don't think I'm meant to be in front of the lens, but behind the lens. I've requested for a photoshoot to be done (as vain as it may sound, I was curious on how I'd look, how it'd be to be a "model") but it didn't turn out. I'm not sure if I was rejected, but come to think of it I'm not surprised. I mean, I'm not exactly model material, and my facial features are terribly uninteresting. I'm too shy and ashamed to ask again, so I'll just leave it at that.

SLRs are wonderful things, if used properly, it could produce the most amazing images, beautifully capturing the perfect moment. But I've seen some people buying it for the sake of having better camwhore pictures. I have nothing against that, but it just seems pretty ridiculous to me. An SLR is a professional gadget, it just seems rather strange to be used solely for better profile pictures.

But what the hell, who am I to say anything? Gorgeous people do whatever they want.

Anyway on another note, I'm having some sort of breakdown because I don't ever seem to be in the mood to study, and I officially have less than 100 days till my finals. Terribly horrified that I'm even having this thought, but I'm actually looking at other options. You know the scariest part? I've no other options.

Hello,

I'm sitting at OldTown with my Criminal Law books all across the table, wondering. Just wondering.

It's really been awhile since I read a novel, which I love doing. If I'm not mistaken I still have one Jodi Picoult book waiting for me, nor have I played a song on the guitar.

Just the other day I picked up the guitar, held the pick between my fingers and attemped to play a song, only to realize I don't remember the chords to a single song.

To be honest this isn't really what I wanted. The guilt I feel for not studying even for a day is extreme, I'm feeling stressed out all the time.

I can't help but feel like my youth is slipping through my fingers, right out of my hand. There isn't a day that passes that opportunities don't move themselves further away from me.

I'm growing up, that's what's happening.

Well on a lighter note, I'm looking forward to my 3 month break after my finals. I'm looking forward to trying my best in enjoy myself as much as I can, before the madness starts all over again.

Merry Christmas, Happy New Year, yada yada yada. . . and here we are in 2011. I'm not gonna do a post on the highlights of 2010 because honestly, I'm too lazy. I wouldn't say it was an awesome year, especially in my current state (I'm a little sleepy, must be time for my afternoon nap. And my nose is a tiny bit runny) and there really isn't much that I can remember.

So, confession? I'm terrified. Why? LLB Exam. Plus, I'm really not ready to grow up. If I could, let me stay a kid please? I miss high school, I miss being care-free, I miss wasting time because I can. I don't want a stupid number 2 in front of my age. Growing up (getting old) sucks *throws child tantrum*

But, can't stop time now can we? Yes yes, deal with it they say. And so I will.

Life really is too short. So much to do, so many restrictions, time being one of them. We are all victims of the lack of time, whether we feel it or not.

And for those in relationship problems, here's a little something I always say (No, I am not a self-proclaim Love Guru):

Rapunzel : A Tangled Tale

Hello everyone! I am back from the dead! (Well, only for once in a while anyway)

I've been very excited about Rapunzel : A Tangled Tale because the trailer looks adorable and I had a good feeling about this one (though I wouldn't trust my instincts all the time if I were you). I was in a perfect mood for something like this and I'm such a child at heart (although some argue that I'm STILL a child), so it was awesome for me. But if you're depressed or something you might not like it that much. Yes, that was a disclaimer.

Although it doesn't hint in the trailer that it's a musical, it isn't surprising that it turned out to be one. FYI, I don't like musicals, at all. But this was okay as I think there were only 4 or 5 songs max, and they weren't too long or anything.

Meet Rapunzel. Isn't she just so pweetttyyyy? Her voice is actually the voice of Mandy Moore, which is a little odd that they didn't promote that. I was so curious as to who's voice was Rapunzel's I waited till the credits rolled. Then I was like, oh, well, no surprise there.

Oh, and she's ADORABLE.

OMG so handsome right?! Umm, anyway this is Flynn Rider, voice by, wait for it, Zachary Levi! Don't know who? Well he's that cute looking chap in Chuck, the television series. He's gaining more popularity these days isn't he?

He's really really funny. Or I'm just bias, haha.

You know, I'm starting to feel like this review is a little useless lol. Anyway I'm kinda assuming everybody already knows the plot of the story, I mean, who hasn't read the story right? I don't need to tell you this lady is evil, because it's pretty obvious. She's Rapunzel's "mother" relies on her magic hair to stay youthful forever.

That's Pascal, the chameleon. He's Rapunzel's pet and he's really cute. I kinda wished chameleons were this cute in real life, I'd totally get one and have it on my shoulder all day (okay maybe not), but they're like 1000000 times freakier than Pascal *shivers*

This is Maximus the horse. Real cute and funny (and angry). Okay you know what? Everything about this movie is cute and funny and adorable and I love them. So yea, I feel retarded saying the same things for each picture, I'm not feeling very creative today.

Ahh, what's a Disney fairytale without a cliche happy ending?

By the way, is it just me or is Disney really making a lot of movies this year?

I love how the movie is built around the Forgetting Sarah Marshall world, and Russell Brand still plays Aldous Snow. Jonah Hill is Aaron Green, poor child that is responsible of bringing Aldous Snow to the Greek Theater for his 10th anniversary concert. Watching him being all stressed out is funny, and he's so chubby. Who doesn't like a funny chubby boy? I know I do.

And finally, my Lamb Chop. Salivating yet? This just looks too awesome doesn't it? It taste good too. The meat was not overcooked (just the way I like it), the meat was a bit fat-ish and the gravy was good too. Ahh, thinking about it is making me hungry again =(

What I have to wear to work (ignore the picture quality, camera phone *pst*)

Random story on how I got the job. A long lost highschool friend offered it to me, and I took it. Good money I'd have to say, but I shall not get caught up in greed, hence I'm working there every Monday from now onwards.

The job is fairly simple: I'm a waitress. But basically we stand there and (try) to look pretty. The only hard part is that I'm required to stand in heels for 5 hours, which is a real challenge for me cause I've never been comfortable in heels.

I work with friendly people and don't mind the job at all. I even get to snack on delicious things sometimes *salivates*

There are many surrounding restaurants that are also owned by Mr.Werner himself, and word is, the food is to die for.

Urgh, can't believe we have such bad luck. Two days ago when it was raining heavily, lighting striked and the thunder was very loud. I ran upstairs to see if anything was wrong, and I smelled it.

Burned.

Telephone line completely snapped, the computer kena also. Thank god it wasn't anything serious. Hope it doesn't take Telecom forever to come.

Cannot go onto the internet nevermind, the fan in my room cannot control speed anymore. Now everytime I switch it on, the speed is at 1 =.=

Hot nevermind, the gate outside gone case.

Hence, no updates for the rest of the week. Sigh, I feel so unproductive =(

Well after 3 long months of holiday, class is finally starting again. To be honest I'm not entirely happy with how I used up my holiday, but whatever, it's gone now.

I'm having mixed feelings about college starting, on one hand I'm kind of excited, a little nervous because most of the friends I hang out with are taking another course, but on the other hand I kinda liked not having to go to class.

Sigh, back to my anti-social self I suppose. Wish me luck in meeting friends =)

I love secrets. I hate secrets.

I love hearing them, because I'm such a busy-body in nature, I get excited with the thought of sharing something precious or embarrassing, something to laugh about, something new to imagine. Secrets makes me feel special, because every time someone tells me one, they tell me not to tell anyone else, makes me think that I'm the only one that knows. A secret between two people and only two people. I like the idea of that.

I hate keeping them, to be honest I'm quite bad at keeping secrets. So to those who have secrets, best if you don't tell me. I'm not saying I'm that bitch that dishes out on everyone's secrets, but I have had moments where I speak when I shouldn't, and no I'm not proud of it.

Something random, really. I just felt like talking. Haven't really written for quite a while, figured no one would wanna read what I have to say. It's all about pictures these days, no?

Ever since I stumbled upon its movie trailer I knew I wanted to watch it, and I knew I would like it. Bought the DVD a couple of days ago and made the boyfriend watch it with me.

This movie turns me on with its actors. Always fun to see familiar faces acting together. Though I've never been a big fan of Tobey Maguire, I don't mind him. I adore Natalie Portman, I think her face is gorgeous, plus she looks really good bald, that says something. Jake Gyllenhaal always been one of my favourites, he looks hot here, but then again he always does, doesn't he?

Natalie Portman plays Tobey Maguire's (Sam) gorgeous wife (Grace). He's a dutiful Marine that was pronounced dead when his helicopter was shot down in Afghanistan. It's all very emotional, perhaps I was in the crying mood, I cried a lot. Spouses dying are a real tear-jerker for me, gets me everytime.

On another note, I thought the two little actresses that played the daughters of the couple were very good in what they do. Although they might not be the best looking little girls, thumbs up for their performance, especially the older kid.

Jake Gyllenhaal (Tommy) plays Tobey Maguire's brother, who is a charming ex-con, a black sheep in the family. When his brother dies, Tommy steps in and plays a saviour, helping out at the house and playing with the kids. Though he's a complete asshole in the beginning, I began to like him better when he gets his act together and makes himself useful.

However, as expected, feelings started to developed between Tommy and Grace and although there was no official affair whatsoever, it was obvious that something was going on.

In fact Sam did not die, and was brought back home. However his traumatic experience in Afghanistan and the things that he was forced to do made him become a man he did not know, hostile and paranoid, he was a broken man. He could not act and communicate with his family normally. I thought Toby Maguire did a good job in playing this stage of Sam's character. His eyes widened with fear and doubt, lashing out his anger at Grace the his children, having a gun with his at night. However I thought Natalie Portman was just okay in terms of her performance in this movie.

This movie talks about loyalty, trust and love of a family. The decisions we make to move on with our lives and someone dear to us has passed. The guilt on forgetting and letting go, the responsibilities owed to a brother.

I wouldn't say there is anything special about the storyline. What helps is the actors and the way the movie was directed (which I thought was good). I enjoyed myself very much throughout the movie and I think it is one that's definitely worth watching.

Watch the trailer if you haven't already, you'd be impressed =)

I'll be away for a week, off to Italy with my Daddy. I'm pretty stoked, Italy looks so pretty on movies and pictures =)

On another more serious note, I'll be taking my A-Levels results later. To be honest I didn't even remember until my Dad told me yesterday morning. Now that I think about it, I'm actually pretty nervous.

The Street Cafe : The Best Korean Street Food

Greetings. I didn't crop this picture or anything, just that my estimation for space and angle abit retarded. Lol my boyfriend got mini afro sial. You're adorable la =)

Anyway, last week before I watched The Last Airbender at 7, we had a little more than one hour to spare. I was a little hungry but we didn't wanna eat anything big, so we strolled around Asian Avenue to see if there's anything to eat. I don't know how or why but we ended up at this place.

Korean food/snacks. I mean, not what I would usually go for, unless it's the real deal. But since we didn't want anything heavy (besides I was the only one eating) what the heck, why not.

Korean Tea. Being a little broke recently, I ordered the cheapest drink on the menu, and it was bottomless. I think it was RM2. I didn't know what Korean Tea was, but I assumed it was tea, as in with tea leaves. It was only later EuJin pointed it out to me that it's "Oksusu Cha", which mean corn tea. Made from boiled roasted corn kernels, and it contains no tea leaves =.= Apparently it has health benefits but I don't give a hoot.

Well it tasted so bad (to me, I hated it) that we didn't finish it and ordered a 100 Plus instead. Waste my money, hmph.

Looks nice right?? Absolutely no idea what it's called =( And looks can be deceiving, it doesn't taste nearly as good as it looks. Oh, and it's tiny. Comes with more kimchi (there's already some inside the rice) and soup.

Polaroids! They're all over the place. Well, not really. But there are loads of them. I wish Polaroid films weren't that expensive =(

Food replicas that are also deceiving! Haha actually I don't know if they're good la didn't try also.

It's pricey and quality is really just so-so. If I have a say on where to eat, I don't think I'll ever come back to this place.

First time for everything: facial at HerbaLine

My skin has been terrible since the beginning of this year, red little itchy things popping up on my face every single day. I think my face is too dry.

I talked to my sister-in-law the other day and I decided to get my first ever facial of my 19 years of life on Sunday morning.

She's a regular customer at HerbaLine: OUG Beauty Spa House which is somewhere near Pearl Point in Taman Bukit Indah. It's a corner house, very easy to find, very convenient. Their number is 03-79809101, just in case if you're interested.

It took me by surprise (maybe I'm just jakun in nature) how nice and soothing the whole place is. Water features, plants and warm lighting.

After getting myself "registered", I took off my flops and scrubbed my feet in salt water. Wore their very-difficult-to-walk-in paper sandals and went upstairs to start my session.

Funny thing I had to wear. I didn't even know how to wear it lol. I held it up and it looked like a giant laundry bag.

To be honest I wasn't really sure what was happening when the facial started. She was trying to tell me but I couldn't really hear her. I know she cleansed and moisturised, on top of that I think I had 3 masks, not quite sure what they're for. I think one was to hydrate and the other for whitening. I also had my dead skin cells (?) removed by this machine that makes a funny sound, literally made the hair on the back of my neck stand up *shivers* Extracting of the blackheads and stuff was painful as hell, tears were flowing out from the corner of my eye, but I survived it =)

I have to say though, I'm not entirely comfortable with facials. Maybe I'm not used to it, but I felt so restless lying there. Especially when I was waiting for my mask to be taken off.

I was there for slightly less than 2 hours, though it sounds very long, it doesn't feel that long, though I got a little impatient.

Outside you have Fish Reflexology, which is fun. It was my first time too, the fishes were so cute. Loved the colour too.

*nibble nibble* The fishes made me giggle =D

My facial was RM99, though that's an offer price. The facial is actually worth RM140, if I'm not mistaken. If you go with a partner and both of you decide to take the same facial, you get a special price. They also have student price for 12 to 19 year olds (I plan to do this the next time). You get a RM79 facial at the price of RM48, totally worth it.

The end result? My face looks worse now due to the extractions, but much smoother with less bumps. My nose feels so clean. But, my face is still dry and peeling =(
